I'm 52 years old and was wondering which is better for tightening/lifting the jowls, jaw line and cheek area. I have a high pain tolerance, so I am not asking which is more comfortable as I understand Ultherapy can be painful. A lower facelift is not an option for me. Thank you
Answer: Is Exilis Ultra or Ultherapy better for the face? Really good question and this is one we get asked a lot about in clinic. As a rule of thumb, Ultherapy would be considered as a better option. It will reach deeper layers of the skin tissue than Exilis Elite. Ultherapy is considered a non-surgical face lift as it treats to the same depth as surgery. Where as Exilis does not target as deep down in comparison. Ultherapy is also a treatment recommended once a year dependant upon individual results in comparison to Exilis which is recommended as a course of 4 treatments. That being said, Exilis Elite is more comfortable, however with new protocols and the right pain management, Ultherapy is very doable. The testament to this in our clinic is that we have all had Ultherapy and when the time comes around, we will all have it again! Best to visit a clinic which has both and discuss your expectations. Ask to see some before and after pictures for both procedures which any good clinic will be able to show you of THEIR patients. Good luck with your treatment.

Answer: Ultherapy and Exilis Skin Tightening Hi, Both Ultherapy and Exilis Ultra 360 are great for non-invasive skin tightening. The key difference being that Utherapy utilises focused ultrasound to stimulate collagen production to lift, tone and tighten loose skin whereas Exilis is a radio frequency based treatment coupled with ultrasound assistance and controlled cooling for comfort and safety. Ultherapy is generally a yearly treatment whileExilisrequires a series of 3-6 treatments at 2 weekly intervals for best results. My recommendation for most of my patients is to do Ultherapy to kick-start the rejuvenation process and Exilis for periodic maintenance of the skin. As they are both wonderful machines, with proper treatment, you should get good results with either machine. Cheers! Dr. Terence Tan, Halley Medical Aesthetics, Singapore

Answer: Is Exilis Ultra or Ultherapy better for the face? While both can work well, my patients prefer the better comfort level of the Exilis for skin tightening compared to the higher discomfort with Ultherapy. Wish you all the best.wirthplasticsurgery.com

Answer: Tightening Hello there! I typically prefer Ultherapy to Exilis Ultra, in my experience. The results are still slightly better in my opinion. It is somewhat uncomfortable, but a well-trained and experienced provider will have a plethora of helpful tips and tricks for making it more comfortable. You should see results after 4-6 months, and a booster treatment at 6 months can even take the results further. Cheers! Sarah RN BSN
