Why is the incision not closed, bone graft exposed? (photo)

I recently had a wisdom tooth and molar 18 extracted. Bone graft put in place 9 days ago. I’m doing ok on pain level it’s just a little sore but as some stitches have dissolved, I’m seeing some bone graft material and the gums don’t seem to be closing. Will they close? Is this an isssue? Finished al antibiotics as well.

Based on the picture you have uploaded, the area seems to be healing well.  As a routine, it is recommenced to use membranes over bone grafts after socket bone grafting.  If the area was over packed, then loss of some grafting material should not have a major consequence.  At this...

Dear cemo88, I'm so sorry that your graft did not take. The bone surrounding the graft site will deteriorate if you don't get the graft redone. Do it as soon as possible.

Hello... after the bone graft is normal feel the lump that probably is bone of the doctor put. Don’t be scared of that it will pass in few days. In case it hurt you, feel so much pain and pus get in contact with your dentist.
