Is this fat loss beneath my cheekbone? (photo)

At certain angles I feel I look gaunt and like a skeleton. In only 33. It seems premature for below my cheekbones to start hollowing out. What should I do to fix this or prevent it? Am I being too nitpicky? It is bothering me so much now that I noticed it.
