Results waxing and waning - is this normal?

The collagen gets remodified after any injury/laser/surgery up to one year, so it is true that some changes are happening after 5 months, however I doubt they could be perceived at the level of the skin on a daily basis. What is more likely is that you are experiencing swelling and thus it might look differently from day to day, consider taking consistent photos and getting evaluated by your surgeon.
