If matching EXACTLY is a goal, then ALL teeth that show should be restored (veneers or crowns, or a combination).  Anything less, and the goal is merely "close enough".

It is very difficult to match any type of restoration to natural teeth EXACTLY. However, a talented lab technician, a proper preparation of the teeth (ie. not enough tooth reduction can lead to artificially white and fake looking teeth), and proper porcelain choice can make all the difference in success or failure. One has to understand that even then, there are often multiple "try-in" visits until the perfect match is realized.
