Eye twitching after PRFM. What can I do?

Hi I had prfm injections to my under eyes. About 1-2 weeks after my eyes started twitching consistently throughout the day. It's been almost 2 months and my right eye has stopped twitching but my left eye still constantly twitches and spasms. What do I do? Is this normal? Can I get PRP instead?

I am an ophthalmologist and had to deal with eyes twitching all the time. I honestly do not believe that your ocular spasm had anything to do with the injections. Your twitching started 2 weeks after the injections. Stress, lack of sleep, excess of caffeine, chocolate and cigarette smoking have been associated with blepharospasm. Your primary care doctor might want to try to prescribe you baclofen to relax muscles. If the spasm persists, and it s visible, Botox has been used to treat that condition.
