Can Exilis Be Used for Breast Reduction?

I am very curious about Exilis and wonder whether it could be used to reduce and tighten breasts. I have read Exilis can be used for male breast reduction, but I can't find any information about it being used for breast reduction in women.

Exilis will not produce a meaningful reduction in surface area, volume, or weight of the breasts, the three measures that reduction mammaplasty is designed to accomplish.

Thank you for the question.  Breast reduction surgery for women is one of the most patient pleasing operations we perform. The upside of the procedure is the de-crease the size of breasts which can cause symptoms such as neck/ back/ shoulder discomfort,  bra strap grooving, postural changes,  frequent rashes  as  well as other physical and psychosocial &ldquo;symptoms&rdquo;.

	A variety of &ldquo;skin tightening&rdquo; procedures, and go every year. These procedures waste patients time and money and leave them disappointed and cynical.

	I would suggest examination by a well experienced board-certified plastic surgeon.

Frankly, I had never heard of Exilis so I googled it.  Basically, it appears to be a variation on Thermage combined with endermologie.  It is my opinion that this would not be a therapeutic option for either male or female breast reduction and represents another in a long line of non-surgical "treatments" without efficacy in the general patient population.   If you take a look at the Real Self "Worth It" ratings, you will see that female breast reduction has one of the highest rankings and gynecomastia surgery has a high satisfaction rate at all.  Then look at the ratings of some of the non-surgical treatments that are being touted to patients and compare the satisfaction rate for them.

be careful be careful be careful. I am not saying this just because I am a surgeon.. I see a large number of a male breast reduction patients many of whom have experimented with various preparations with very unhappy results. once again, be careful
