Hello. Would I be able to go to an event after coolsculpting? Or would I be too swollen? Thank you!
Answer: Coolsculpting after-care There should be no issue with you resuming ordinary events after your Coolsculpting session. Discuss with your physician. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Activities after cool sculpting Hi Maria, while there is portential for minor discomfort, swelling, or bruising, Murphy’s law applies. If it is a major event or your outfit may cause discomfort, I would probably wait.

Answer: Coolsculpting Hi, thank you for your question! There is always potential for bruising and swelling after cool-sculpting. If you have an important event I would recommend waiting until after the event to have the cool-sculpting done.

Answer: Going to event after coolsculpting Hi Mariasalem,Thank you for your question. There is really no significant downtime after coolsculpting. Swelling, tenderness, bruising may occur after the treatment. These can be mitigated however, with conservative over the counter analgesics. Generally speaking though patients can resume their normal activities after the treatment. The procedure can be done with no preparation. One note to consider is the the number of cycles one receives with coolsculpting in one session. Even then there would not be any contraindications to resume normal activities as tolerated or even going to events. If you are interested I have an Instagram video describing the coolsculpting treatment it’s comparison to other types of body contouring. Best of luck!

Answer: Swelling with CoolSculpting Hello MarieSalem: Swelling after CoolSculpting can occur but in my more than 11-year experience it is rare for it to be significant and when it does occur is not severe. When I have had #CoolSculpting myself, I have gone about my usual activities immediately afterward, including going to yoga class and getting into all poses including the bow pose without any problem. I think if you are very slim, a small amount of swelling might show more. You could wear a Spanx-type compression garment if that is the case. All the best from NYC! Sheryl Clark MD FAAD
