I'm worried about a gap forming in-between my front teeth. I took a closer look at the Clincheck, and the gap will only get bigger. I can't understand how it got approved. I’m worried that mistakes were made, and that my teeth will still need a lot of work after tray 14. Which brings me to the refinements: I’m sure my ortho said, at the start of my Lite treatment, it included up to 14 refinements if necessary. But now she says it only includes 2. Do I have a right to ask for more?

Any kind of tooth movement is possible with invisalign . your concern is about crown length, so either you can go for extrusion of front two teeth [that will result in incisal edge 1mm down as compare to lateral incisor (that is ideal)] or gum re-contouring to increase crown length of front teeth.
Gaps are NOT formed next to teeth, so you can rest easily. The pressure to the PDL (periodontal ligament) stimulates cells to remove/soften bone, allowing teeth to move. It is a very safe and conservative method to get straight teeth.
80% of my TMJ patients had orthodontics as a teen. the orthodontic movement puts teeth in a position that the body doesn’t like. The muscles fight tooth position. Invisalign may help or it may not. the goal would be to move your teeth away from the tongue to give it more space.
