Burning & painful sensitive sensation - did tear trough filler potentially hit a nerve?

About 3 years ago I went to a dermatologist to get tear trough filler, whilst there they said they’d like to inject under my right eye very close to my nose, almost where the cheeks start to dip from the nose - as they injected the needle hit something and it almost popped like bubble wrap - from that day I’ve experienced a burning, painful, sensitive sensation from the eyelid down to the cheek bone. Could this be nerve damage?
