I unfortunately let aa doctor inject my cheeks with permanent filler 12 years ago. I hated the look as I looked like a chipmunk. 6 months ago I found a Dr who said she can removed the filler using ultralesional optic fibre laser which heats the filler and then squeezed out. Immediately after treatment, I had top lip ptosis/paralysis. I couldn’t smile, talk properly, use a straw… etc. 6 months later still no improvement. Is this permanent nerve damage caused my the laser she used ?
