Best options for breast lift scar removal?

I went through a breast lift procedure over a year ago. I'm very happy with the results, but as you can see from the photos my scars are still somewhat red and very visible. What are some effective treatment options to deal with this type of scarring?

Thank you for sharing your photos. Glad you are happy with your lift results. Unfortunately scarring is inevitable and yours don't appear too bad. Assuming that you have already pursued the optimal early scar treatments including silicone topical gel/sheeting/tape along with pressure and you have waited 1 year (natural scar changes can occur over several years) the options now are minimally invasive (ie microneedling, various lasers or scar camouflage tattooing) or more invasive as with surgical scar revision. Whichever means you choose it is best to consult with a plastic surgeon to review all of your options and the risks of each treatment. The bad news is that scars cannot be "erased" but the good news is if you wait even longer you will likely see further spontaneous improvement.

Dear blsznnn,
for scars, I close all of my incisions in 5 layers and do not use absorbable sutures because they cause inflammation and worse scarring. I tape all of my incisions in the office visits once a week for six weeks after surgery to improve the appearance. After taping, I start my patients on a scar gel therapy for 3 months that they have to put on their incisions twice daily.You should discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon as different surgeons have different approaches in scar management.
