Mass mole removal - what treatment will help? (Photo)

Over the last two year and peobably due to ageing i have had a huge increase in moles ( no, I am not keen on the sun) i now have both my arms covered in moles and its really affecting my self confidence, my question would be can i remove these all at once , maybe using laser? They are dark, flat moles - mostly almost black.

Thank you for sharing your concerns and the photo. I completely understand how having numerous dark moles can affect self-confidence—it’s a very common concern as we age, even if you haven’t had much sun exposure.

Regarding removal, it’s important to first ensure that any mole is safely evaluated, as some dark moles may need a biopsy to rule out atypical or precancerous changes before considering cosmetic removal.

For many flat, dark moles, laser treatments or light-based therapies can help lighten or remove some of them, but not all lasers are appropriate for every type of mole. Additionally, complete removal of all moles on both arms at once is generally not recommended, both for safety and healing reasons. Moles can vary in depth, and aggressive treatment of many areas simultaneously may increase the risk of scarring or pigmentation changes.

Other options include shave removal or surgical excision for selected moles, particularly if any appear atypical. Often, a staged approach over multiple sessions provides the safest and most aesthetically pleasing results.

I know it can be frustrating to have to approach this gradually, but prioritizing safety and optimal healing will give you the best long-term results.
