I had a nose job last year around September but have this lump inside of my nose with a white head, I get very stuffy still and I have had this lump since the start. My doctor advised it may just be swelling but not sure if it is in all honesty as he didn’t check it

If this was present before surgery, it may be your "anterior nasal spine" or just septal cartilage - looks like it may be a piece of bone or cartilage at the base of your septum. It's probably best not to worry about this if all else is fine. Good luck! Dr Joseph

I highly recommend that you make an appointment to see your original surgeon about any postop questions, especially when you are less than a year out from surgery. In my practice, my door is always open to my postoperative patients, and I would hope that your surgeon would be the same. It appears that it could be a small suture protruding through, but this would only make sense if he did anything to the septum, which is why he would be the best person to ask. You are still healing from surgery, and it is imperative to continue to see your surgeon throughout the first year. I recommend calling to make another appointment for him to look at the site. I agree with him that you are most likely still swollen and you should not expect all the swelling to resolve until one year post surgery.
