Although I am aware of various forms of alarplasty and commonly do them, I have never performed what you describe and show. I think it is a bad idea and very risky to create a weird appearance. I advise against it

I have seen that technique used to thin out the nostril edge. It can work well in certain cases where the skin along the rim is thick. I have only used it a few times. Most surgeons are afraid to do aggressive alar reductions such as this. Although they have no problem doing lip Lifts which I...
