Irregularities from under eye fat grafting - can I get fat dissolving injections?

I have this huge irregularity from facial fat grafting I got in Korea . I got it done in November and it looks awful . The lump is dragging down my entire midface/ under eye area . Idk what to do , can I get fat dissolving injection in the under eye area?

Considering that you are only 4 months after fat transfer it is still possible that volume and deformity will go down; it takes 8-12 months in our experience for fat grafts to stabilize. Correction of residual deformity, if any, needs to be discussed with an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon, expert in fat grafting. Good luck.

Hello, hope you are well. My first suggestion is that you wait and do nothing for now. The results of fat grafting may continue to change in coming months as some of the transferred fat may atrophy and the volume may dissipate. Fat dissolving injections exist (Kybella), but this product is not intended for a purpose like this--off-label use in this situation would have risks that I would not tolerate in my practice. Once you have healed completely (I would encourage you to wait 12 months), if there is asymmetry or irregularity, a touch-up or revision procedure may be your best option. AccuTite could also potentially help depending on the exact location of the lump. You should have a consultation with an expert in these procedures once enough time has passed.
