I have an indentation of volume loss on only one sideh of my face on my jawline. It is an indentation and lead to a lumpier region which I'm wondering is my masseter muscle? The reason I am confused is I've not had this before, so I don't know why it would be stronger and visible over time unless it's just sagging skin around it making it obvious? I know it is hard to tell without an assessment but I was wondering if I could have some ideas? The area is not normally red like in the photos, I was just feeling and massaging the area when I took these.

Facial asymmetry is quite common and in your case it is probably caused by one of the massseter muscles being slightly overdeveloped. This could be corrected by Botox injections. Injecting a more prominent masseter muscle will result in your jawline being more symmetrical.
Problem with selective injection to the muscles that lift your upper lip, and corner of your mouth, is that they can cause a funny looking smile that would be difficult to undo, other than tincture of time. Thank you for this question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Using 2 different botulinum toxin products simultaneously is probably not a good idea since doing that was not formally studied and it may cause unknown or increased side effects. To overcome resistance(if it develops) I would simply switch to a different botulinum toxin product.
