Can I use hydroquinone 2% to prep for the Cosmelan/Dermamelan peel?

I have darker African skin and hydroquinone is the only thing that works for me. Would I get darker if I stopped using it after getting the cosmelan peel?

Although the lasers worked well, you should also start a regimented maintenance program or else the pigmentation may recur. I would suggest, as I do in my office, Melarase AM and Melarase PM followed by Melapads. We use this with most lasers and cosmelan peels. Best, Dr....
