Will full veneers or crowns fix my canted teeth at this severity? (Photos)

Question

My lower mandible on same side my teeth are canted is also larger compared to mandible on other side - not sure if this is a coincidence. My bite isn’t off also. Or something to do with jaw. Don’t think I have TMJ. I’m not in any pain either. Just assymetry. Will crowns / full veneers fix this? And make smile line straight snd symmetrical? Thank you.

To set expectations clearly: veneers (or full crowns) work on the teeth themselves &mdash; their shape, length, width, and how they align visually within your smile. In a case like yours, well-planned porcelain veneers on both the upper and lower arch can meaningfully address a canted smile line and improve a lot of the dental asymmetry you’re noticing. By adjusting tooth height and shape, we can level out the smile line and create a more balanced, symmetrical look when you smile. This kind of smile-line correction is one of the most common goals we plan for in cosmetic veneer cases.
What veneers cannot do is change the underlying skeletal structure. If one side of your mandible is genuinely larger than the other, that’s a jaw/bone difference, and veneers won’t alter the size of your jaw, the symmetry of your lips, or the way your upper and lower jaws fit together. Those are facial and skeletal characteristics rather than tooth-surface ones.
So the honest answer is: veneers can do a great deal to make the smile itself look straighter and more symmetrical, but they won’t resolve asymmetry that originates from the jaw or soft tissue. The best next step is an in-person cosmetic evaluation (and likely imaging) so a provider can identify exactly what’s tooth-related versus skeletal, and confirm whether veneers alone will get you the result you’re after.
