Im going for lipo 360 and bbl in may. When can i start getting emsculpt and fat cavitation on my stomach, waist and back? Will this improve my results and contour?
Answer: EMSculpt You can start EMSCulpt in about 4-6 weeks after surgery depending upon your tolerance. However, it should not be used to increase muscle mass on your buttocks until at least 3 months after fat grafting.

Answer: Secondary non-surgical treatments In comparison to properly done surgical intervention these non-surgical treatments are not going to be particularly impressive. Muscle stimulation can have an impact on those who show muscle definition. In order for those treatments I have a significant impact you have to be able to see the muscles in the first place. This generally requires having tight skin and thin layers of subcutaneous fat. A comes before B. I suggest focusing on what’s important and that is probably first and foremost understanding your candidacy for the BBL and secondly finding the right provider. Delivering consistent quality liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people believe. The number of providers to do these procedures well consistently is a relatively rare. There are plenty board-certified plastic surgeons with years of experience and good reputation we’re not particularly good at either Liposuction or fat transfer. The results from these procedures are permanent and irreversible. There are enormous variations in outcome based on what provider you choose. Different plastic surgeons also have very different views about the female torso and body should look like. I recommend patients have multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons who have a lot of experience with these procedures before scheduling surgery. I do not recommend people rely on virtual consultations for something as important as body contouring surgery. Do you live with these results for the rest of your life. The time to be selective it is now. During each consultation ask each provider to open their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures. Come prepared for each consultation by bringing with you printed copies of pictures of your own body taken the same way plastic surgeon just take before and after pictures. It should include your torso cropped from your neck to your knees showing your front, side and back side. Ask each provider to show you all the examples of previous patients who had similar body characteristics to your own(similar candidacy). Ask providers to show you examples of excellent outcomes, average outcomes and outcomes that did not turn out as well as they had hoped. Providers may be apprehensive to do this and prefer to show you only the best results of their career. This is insufficient to get a clear understanding about average results look like, the variation and outcomes or how many of these procedures they were actually performed. An experience provider should have no difficulty showing you a minimum of 50 set a before and after pictures of commonly performed procedures like the BBL. Highly experienced surgeons women so I can hundreds or even thousands of before and after pictures for these procedures. Highly experienced surgeons women so I can hundreds or even thousands of before and after pictures for these procedures. for Liposuction look very carefully at all areas treated to make sure there are no skin contour irregularities in any of the treated areas. Ask the surgeon to review the results with you and ask them to specifically point out what areas were treated and what areas were not treated with liposuction. Then look carefully at transition zones between treated and untreated areas to make sure they look completely natural. I personally prefer to treat the entire torso as a single anatomic unit when doing Liposuction. My treating the entire torso as a single anatomic unit patients are left with an even a thin about the distribution that is consistent over the whole tour so without transition zones between treated an untreated area. The full torso includes upper abdomen, lower abdomen, love handles all the way down to the hip dip, waist, full back and under arms (armpit) all the way to the side of the breast. The backside should show a smooth continuous S-curve that goes from just below the armpit to just above the knee. Some providers do liposuction of the upper thigh in a hope that the buttocks will appear larger. This destroys the natural ask herb they should be trying to create. The results from this type of work looks highly unnatural. Perhaps some people care for the look but there are a lot of bad BBL procedures being performed. In the end there are only two variables that matter. Your candidacy for the procedure and the surgeon you choose. You’ll be reminded of the outcome every day for the rest of your life so please choose carefully. If patients have any doubts I recommend it’s better to slow down and schedule more consultations. I recommend patient start with at least five in person consultations and consider scheduling many more unless they feel very confident they found the best provider. OK careful notes during each consultation especially regarding the overall thoroughness and the quantity and quality of before and after pictures. When having multiple consultations you cannot rely on your memory to differentiate who had the best results. it’s also worthwhile counting exactly how many before and after pictures each provider showed you. Most people do not have a lot of experience consulting with plastic surgeons. Process can be intimidating for some. Plastic surgeons on the other hand have years of experience and I’ve done thousands of consultations. Recognize that you are the one paying for the service that they are supplying. Do you have all the rights in the world to ask for sufficient documentation to get a clear understanding of the skill and experience of each provider. Good luck, Mats Hagstrom MD
