I had under eye filler over a year and half ago. I’ve swelling which is like liquid (I believe to be edema) I don’t know what to do about it. It looks awful but does seem to come and go (but never go completely)

The long history and the appearance of "puffy pillows" below the eyes makes it quite likely that this represents infraorbital lymphatic obstruction (lymphedema). Often this results from the use of an HA filler not appropriate for the under eye region and/or if the filler is injected too superficially in the delicate under eye skin. If this is indeed the problem here, it tends to be a very difficult problem to treat and does not seem to respond to simple injection of hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler. I have personally had success in reducing the problem signifcantly for patients who had been treated elsewhere with HA fillers employing an algorithm of varying combinations, concentrations and amounts of anti-inflammatory agents. Make sure to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatolgist. Best of luck.
