Chin/jaw reduction - what results could I expect? (Photos)

Question

Would i be a good candidate for a chin/jaw reduction? My chin is quite bulbous and big both horizontally and vertically. It protrudes very far out from my face. How much could i expect it o be reduced by? Most surgeons do the procedure theough the mouth but im concerned about loose skin/tissue as my chin is quite fatty already.

Since the problem is excess soft tissue, I would recommend an incision through the submental crease to allow for the reduction of the soft tissue of the chin. There is both subcutaneous fat and subplatysmal fat. To achieve the best results, I would also recommend jawline and neck liposuction to be performed simultaneously. When patients have a very prominent submental crease, I sometimes mobilize the subplatysmal fat and use it to fill in the deep crease. It doesn't appear that you need any bony work on the chin.
