Bottom front teeth wobbly from accident - can I still get Invisalign with a splint?

I had a consultation for Invisalign which I was told wouldn’t be a problem however I was recently in a car accident where the air bag hit my bottom two front teeth which have got better but still wobbly. The dentist calls them “band 2” - she wants to put in a splint to strengthen them but she says it’s my decision whether I need to or not. Question is would I still be able to get Invisalign with the splint? And if I did.. would it be a good idea with or without given the recent events?

The location of the composite binding would be an important consideration. It is best advised that all refinements with bonding are done prior to any cosmetic enhancement. Hope this helps!

Undoubtedly the temporary tooth will be lost with time, since its root is shorter than in a permanent tooth, so I would recommend including the extraction of that baby tooth in the invisalign treatment in order to close the space or place an implant, depending on the position of your remaining...

No, using both would affect your temporomandibular joint. I would recommend that you discuss with your dentist the possibility of having fixed upper retention so that you can use your mouth guard to prevent tooth wear due to gridding.
