Bad reaction to Profhilo - what is the correct course of action?

I had Profhilo in May 2022 with an experienced doctor but as soon as soon as the product was administered I felt discomfort under the skin. My face continued to swell & it actually gave me jowls which I didn't have before. The pain continued & I hated the way it made me look. It was suggested to massage the jaw area upward to no avail. Over 2 wks later Dr suggested dissolving. Was this the correct course of action or should other methods have been suggested? Thank you. :(
