Crown too low - It was too high and went back in and filed down. Advise?

Thank you for inquiring, Is up to a certain point normal that when a crown, regardless of the material is newly placed or cemented you go back home and you might feel it a bit higher than the rest of your teeth, the main reason is that when we adjust it we use a marking paper and ask you, as patient to grind front to back and side to side to see any possible high points and filed them down, this movements are conscious to you and are easy to control by you, but is not until you start chewing with unconscious circular movements that you will be able to indicate for sure if the is a high point or not, if any aditional adjustments are necessary this adjustments need to be made very little by little because if we file down to much this material cannot be added to the crown specially if the crown has been in mouth for a few days, if for any reason the crown is left to short after adjustments this crown might have to be replaced specially if the margin is not completely sealing, my advice: make sure you discuss this details with your dentist.
