After taking Accutane, will my face have any type of oil?

I have oily skin on my face and I know the point of the treatment is to shrink the glands and reduce oil production. But I am worried that after my skin will be really dry and have no oily production at all. And I'm am wondering if I will have joint pains after the treatment as well?

During treatment with accutane, the skin feels very dry.  This resolves about one month after discontinuing treatment.  You will still have oil production, but it won't nearly be as much as before accutane.  I don't find that patients complain of dry skin once they are off the medication.  I do find that many patients become addicted to lip balm out of habit and potentially need - so many continue to stay on lip balm after treatment.  
Any joint pains should also resolve within a month of discontinuing treatment.
