There is no reason why you can't get your tattoo removed and also have a breast lift at the same time. They are completely different areas of your body. The tattoo removal will take multiple treatments spaced at least 6 weeks apart. After each treatment it will take possibly a week to heal, so you could start with the tattoo removal and then resume after having your breast surgery. Good luck!
Laser tattoo removal takes a series of treatments, but it shouldn't interfere with your procedures. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a laser tattoo removal expert to go over a treatment plan and time line. Best, Dr. Emer
As long as the tattoo is not directly over where the surgery site will be, there is no medical reason why you couldn't have the tattoo removed at any time. However, your plastic surgery wounds should not take long to heal if everything goes well. So it probably makes sense to wait for reasons of convenience and comfort. But if you are really in a hurry to get started with the tattoo removal process it should be safe to do so whenever you want to.
Thank you for yourquestion. Having tattoo removal will not interfere with your breast surgery.Remember it takes a series (6-10) of sessions to remove a tattoo. Make sure youare being treated by an expert physician using the correct lasers for yourtattoo. However, this being said you may be more comfortable waiting till afteryour surgery to start laser tattoo removal. Best of Luck!
The tattoo is on your neck not your breasts. I would say it should not matter doing both around the same time. That being said, you may be sore after your breast procedure and not want the added discomfort of the tattoo removal. Tattoo removal will take several treatments spaced months apart. This is not a quick process. I would consider waiting until my breasts were healed and then doing the tattoo removal as you may not want to add to the discomfort of your procedure but doing both together should not make a difference
There should be no interference with the surgery. They are in different areas. Tattoo removal takes a series of treatments, sometimes up to 10. It is best to treat with both a pico and nano second laser that has multiple wavelengths (if colored). I have found the Piqo4 is the most powerful and versatile of the tattoo lasers.
Your tattoo will likely need multiple sessions to be removed. As long as you are being treated by an experienced physician with an appropriate laser for your tattoo, you should not have problems with the laser site. That being said, it sounds like you have a lot going on in the next few weeks. you may be more comfortable waiting until after your surgery.
There is no reason why the Emla cream would interfere with your tattoo removal. The reason why the skin appears a little whiter after it is removed is that the way the cream numbs is by reducing blood flow to the applied skin. It is normal for initial results to be more impressive than...
Tattoo regret is a very common thing. The most important thing you can do right now is breathe! There is not much else you can do for 4-6 weeks until your skin is totally healed. It's OK to cry if you need to, or talk with a friend or family member who will understand what you're going through....
Your body views tattoo ink as a foreign material. Your immune system is always trying to remove it. It should not damage your lymph nodes.
This will be a difficult tattoo to remove. While the Picosecond lasers have been marketed as highly efficacious, in reality, they are not proving to be much more efficacious than nanosecond Q-switched lasers. What will make this tattoo difficult is the yellow and also the location on your wrist....
Hi there. When you are watching laser tattoo removal videos, you are right that the tattoo/ink and the hair that is lasered will turn white. The white hair should fall out the same or next day and will almost always grow back. The kinds of lasers that effectively remove tattoos (Q-switched...
Hi there. This "kiss" tattoo seems to be very popular. In our clinic we have removed at least a half dozen of these. Our experience with red ink is that it comes out fairly easily. If it is pure red ink, a Q-switched laser that has a 532nm setting will work fine. You can expect 4-6...
