I haven't worn my retainer for about 2 months and I just started again but it hurts. What happened? (Photos)

I didn't wear my retainer for a couple months and I put it back in and it fits but I hurts very bad. Did my teeth shift beyond repair or can't teeth go back to normal if I wear the retainer more?

Not wearing your retainers has allowed your teeth to shift. Wearing the retainers again may move them back into the ideal position or it may not. I suggest visiting your orthodontist to determine the best course of action.
