Question

I'm 2 1/2 yrs post reconstruction surgery. High profile, under muscle. This side has been bothering me with pain sometimes, shift in placement, and harder. Now I have this. I have no nipples, no nipple reconstructed. It's not itching. A bit of soreness in armpit muscles. In foreign country right now, not close to doctor. What could this be? It came rather quickly

Thank you for submitting your questions and photo!  You should consult a plastic surgeon or breast surgeon rather soon to get this evaluated.  Any new lesion that appears suddenly should be investigated due to your breast cancer history.  They may want to perform a biopsy on this lesion to figure out what it is.  I would not recommend applying any topical medication to this lesion until you have spoken with your plastic surgeon.  Thank you for your inquiry.
