NuEra Tight -High temperature and skin burn. Is this normal? How can this be prevented?

Every time I have a NuEra treatment, it gets painful due to the high temperature. The physician needs to stop as otherwise, I would get a severe skin burn. She says it is normal. Should NuEra procedures be painful and burn your skin? What is wrong and how can it be prevented?
