Answer: Defusing radiesse with scar modulators, enzymes, and kenalog Radiesse is a stimulatory filler that is an excellent option for patients who desire a longer-lasting filler alternative to hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. In our office, we use Radiesse to complement structural areas of the face and contour bony prominences. Our office also is a center of excellence for filler complication treatments and we see patients who have been treated by other doctors and have undesirable results from Radiesse or other long-lasting fillers. We have treatment options available for Radiesse filler nodules, granulomas, and soft tissue thickening. The first step would be to diagnose the nodularity and determine whether there is an option for surgical vs. non-surgical removal. Surgical excision is a possibility in some patients; whereas others with more diffuse fillers may benefit from intralesional therapy using scar modulators and enzymes and kenalog. Radiesse complications may be long-lasting and prompt action is key. Patients who have no access to an expert in the field should begin gentle massage of the areas of nodularity with Plato’s Scar Serum twice daily. RF and invasive lasers can actually do more damage by stimulating further collagen growth. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Radiesse is only removed by the body dissolving it over one year
There is no method of removing Radiesse until it gets degraded and carried away by the body's own mechanisms. There is no way of speeding it up. At this point, I recommend that you wait until the Radiesse dissolves before having the rhinoplasty if Radiesse is impeding this procedure.

Answer: Dissolving Radiesse
There is no effective way to dissolve Radiesse. It will go away with time. In most people Radiesse goes away in 6-12 months. Castor Oil Packs will do no harm, but I have not heard of this method to dissolve Radiesse!

Answer: How Do I Dissolve Radiesse in my Nose? I Heard These Castor Oil Packs Can Break It Up.
I know of no agent or process that can speed up the body's removal of Radiesse once injected. It's best to just let it go away on its own.

Answer: Howdo I dissolve Radiesse in my nose
Radiesse is a mineral salt: CalciumHydroxyappatite. It is poorly soluble in water and thus, difficult to remove.
I have been able to remove small amounts of Radiessse from the mucous membrane of the lip (where it got accidentally during treatment of the marionette lines) by injecting saline repeatedly in the area. (once monthly). Tedious work and and slow results.
Radiesse injected in the nose, where there is minimal muscle movement to help metabolize it, can last for years.
Pl. see the Dr who injected it and discuss possible adjunctive procedures (CO2 Laser, Ellman, etc) rather than having it removed, which is unrealistic.
