Question

I had 1 syringe on each side of Voluma and my right side bruised for over a month. A month later I had a large boil that oozed for days. Skin discoloration and eye sunken in is current. Visited injector who said everything looked great. Asked for her to remove filler she said no everything looks great. I tried to explain but she said her fillers have nothing to do with my eye. But what about the cheek fillers? Going to ocular plastics in 2 days. I’m the mean time what should I expect? Tha j you

Hello Annie.  If the goal was to improve the curvature of the cheekbones, then it looks like that may have been accomplished with the Voluma.  If the boil was in a completely different location than the fillers (It looks like it was below the cheekbones, then it is unlikely to be related.  As for what's next, it appears your cheeks look quite natural and full, so we probably wouldn't recommend dissolving either.  Once thing that is noticeable is the pigment on the cheeks (see link below with photos).  This appears consistent with Melasma and if there is one recommendation we would make, it's likely to treat that.
