Can years of spironolactone cause sagging and or dehydrated skin? Can you it ruin your skin's barrier function?

I was taking spironilactone 100 mg a day for about 15 years for jawline hormonal acne and extremely oily skin. I loved it but stopped taking it about 1 year ago. I am 41, using retin a nightly but still having some adult acne issues. I am wondering if I should start taking the spironolactone again but I am hestistant because of my age. Can it dehydrate my skin, ruin my skins barrier and or cause sagging skin?. I want to clear up my break outs but I don't want to loose any plumpness in my skin...
