Can Ultherapy remove Bellafill?

Bellafil is a permanent filler, essentially a foreign body, and, as such, unlike with natural HA fillers, has no enzyme to dissolve it. It is for this reason, among others that I gave up injecting permanent fillers, such as silicone, way back when the natural HA fillers were approved for use.
I have had many patients, however, over the years, come to me for treatment complications of permanent fillers received elsewhere, such as silicone and Bellafil, whom I have been able to help via the use of an algorithm of varying combinations, concentrations and amounts of intralesional injections of anti-inflammatory agents. I am not aware of the use of Ultherapy for this purpose, and suspect it may be, at best, just anecdotal experience of the injector in this case. You would be wise to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert. Hope this helps and best of luck.
