First picture is after laser number 2 and second picture on right is after laser session #4 ( 9 days after treatment) . The 4th session I got blisters and a lot of white spots. I didn't get that in previous treatments. The Laser is picosure. If I keep going will this eventually be gone? How many more treatments do you estimate ? I am afraid that tattoo will don't fade as much as my skin is with those white spots. Can this be surgically removed ?
Answer: Laser Tattoo Removal Thank you for your question in regards to laser tattoo removal. Black ink responses best with using a 1064 wavelength laser. A series of treatments are required to achieve full removal with several weeks between each appointment. It is important to also follow post-op instructions to protect your skin during the healing process. Having this tattoo surgically removed will results in more scarring then ones desires. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

Answer: Removing a black tattoo with a Picosure? The Picosure is not the best laser for removing this laser. You are already scarred from it and I would stop using it. The black tattoos are best cleared with a 1064 nano and picosecond laser, such as the Piqo4 or Enlighten. It will take about another 5 treatments to greatly improve. You are scarred and that won't get better with further treatments.

Answer: Laser tattoo removal Q switch and Pico lasers are great choices but giving the fact that your tattoo is dark with a considerable amount of ink , it may be safer to use less energy so your skin doesn't respond with huge amount of blistering which ultimately could lead to unnecessary hypo pigmentation. I think you may need a further 6-8 sessions to fully remove the ink with 6-10 weeks, or even longer intervals in between sessions.

Answer: Laser Tattoo Removal There is hope! And thank you for posting with photos. The tattoo certainly does not appear to be as faded as one would expect at this point. Picosure, especially the original model, just can't remove black ink very well. Even the updated model has some trouble. I highly recommend finding a provide with one of the newer pico lasers (Enlighten, PiQo4, Picoway). I think you will get much better results.
