But there are better materials for such purpose as deep temporalis fascial, superficial temporalis fascia (the best and my primary option), and... if you mean about rib pericondrium I'd say it is a last resort donor for such kind of cover and camouflage material, however it might be indicated in adverse scenarios of limited availability of other choices for whatsoever the reasons.

Unfortunately your question is too vague to afford any kind of meaningful answer. Perichondrium is a very thin layer of tissue. If rolled into multiple layers it may be helpful to soften any irregularities of the dorsum.
