like for a root canal. Just wondering if the rubber dam thing would effect my juviderm lips.

Sleeping with the head slightly elevated can help resolve swelling after your treatment, and you'll want to avoid sleeping on your face for the first couple of days to minimize the risk of displacement. After the first couple of days, you're fine sleeping however you'd like.

If you're concerned about the dilution just ask the doctor.usually the XC form of Juvederm having anesthetic in it is not diluted. If it is placed more deeply in the fat rather than the deep dermis/fat junction, it may dissolve faster.

Enlargement of the jowls to the extent you note would not be possible from volume of migrated filler. It might just be excessive fluid swelling but if you develop a bruise in the area in the next day then you may have a hematoma (collection of blood). Call to see your doctor for reassurance next...
