If you wear it lightly over your nose, it should be fine. Use your judgement to see how much it is pressing on your nose. The answer to this depends in large part on the operation you are having. If you are getting a hump reduced or have a wide nose, you will need your nasal bones to be fractured. Then, after your rhinoplasty, your nasal bones will be weak. During the first 5-7 days, you will have a splint on. I do not think the face mask could possibly hurt things with the splint in place. After the splint is removed, you nasal bones will be more exposed and weaker. I would probably advise either replacing the splint or waiting 2 weeks to start wearing a facemask. If you do not have fracturing of the bones, you will absolutely be fine.
You can wear the mask, just be sure it does put pressure on the nose along the nasal root as this will create a relative hump along the nasal bridge. This is the reason, glasses can't be worn for 6 months after a Rhinoplasty.

Twitching of the nose or basically muscle spasm is uncommon but can happen. It should get better with time.
Be patient. It takes months to years for grafts to soften. Please don't expect things to return exactly the same as before, afterall, the grafts were placed to add structure and support (remember, this is a good thing).
