Restylane and botox after radiation on face?

I had radiation on my face five months ago, and it has left my skin quite wrinkled. Is it safe to use fillers and Botox? Apart from the wrinkles, my skin looks normal.

Restylane is fabulous for the under eye tear trough area.  However, you can have allergic reactions or lumps to any product weeks to months afterwards. I would return to your treating physician for possible Vitrase removal.  Best, Dr. Green

Thank you for your question. Usually, Restylane injections should be visible within 2 days of treatment. Most probably you didn’t have enough filler injected to achieve your desired result. You may try Juvederm next time as it is thicker and long lasting. I recommend having a follow up with y...

Fillers would be my first choice - either Restylane or Belotero - for the delicate under eye area. I would combine it with the special eye tip for eMatrix to help rejuvenate the skin.  I would not do fat transfer as there are too many complications and much more difficult to correct if there is ...

You are the perfect candidate for these procedures.  Belotero and Restylane work extremely well for the tear trough and a small amount of "baby" Botox will "erase" the wrinkles on your forehead.  Please consult an expert.  Best, Dr. Green
