Hello everyone. I've got this really bad cover up on my under arm - and now I just can't live with it anymore. I instantly regret it after the tattoo was finish in February this year. So the tattoo is only 2 months old. But I really want to ask you - if it is possible to remove it? And what laser type do you think is the best for me? Picoway? Picosure or Quanta Plus C? Best regard Camilla
Answer: Laser Tattoo Removal Facts--Takes a series of treatments Tattoos should be removed with q switched or pico lasers. Most Doctors have their preferred laser. I use the Medio Star/Tattoo Star Combo. It will take a series of treatments for removal. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a laser tattoo removal expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Removal of a tattoo at 2 months Hi,Picoway as does Picosure, has the ability to remove tattoos such as yours - since they have the adequate wavelengths needed. However, you are lookig at quite a number of sessions, and a longer period of time. With that density of ink, try spacing the sessions further apart (3 to 4, even 6 months)to allow for good reaggregation before the next sitting. Also, do wait a good 4- 6 months before trying to remove a new tattoo. It is much easier removing an older tattoo than a newer one.

Answer: Use a PicoSecond Laser Thanks for your question and posting a picture. You will get better and fast results using a picosecond laser. They hype of extra wavelengths does not make that much of a difference. The 755 nm will get rid of most of the ink colors. For red and pink ink, you would need to make sure they have 532 nm. The most important factor in tattoo removal is time and patience. Your tattoo is thick and dark. It is going to take at least 2 years to remove this tattoo. We would recommend treating it at 2-3 month intervals for the first 3-4 treatments and then have you wait 4-6 months between treatments. Your body has to do the hard work of breaking down and eliminating ink that the laser crushes into tiny particles. I would recommend finding the most experienced picosecond laser facility in your area. Best of luck.

Answer: Removing a tattoo, which laser is best? If I had a choice of those 3, the Picoway is best. It has more wavelengths and has pico and nanosecond possibilities. The Picosure is very limited with which colors it can treat and the Quanta is only a QS laser (nano and not pico). I use the Piqo4 which has slightly more possibilities than the Picoway.
