The cosmetics of your veneers is your personal preference. If you do not have them cemented, it can be corrected. If they are cemented, the doctor may be able to polish some of the translucency if it is stained on the facial of the veneer. Talk to your dentist !

This should likely be able to be polished by your dentist if they are feeling grainy as you describe.
Hi:Unfortunately your crown can not be used for the implant in the future. A new crown has to be made that fits the new implant and abutment which will be different in size than the crown you used to have on your own tooth.Best,Dr. Maddahi
