Cost of removing an existing bridge is around $250-500 depending how involved it is. There are couple of ways to removed that false part of the bridge. You can either just cut off the pontic portion of the bridge or you can remove the entire bridge. If you choose to remove the entire bridge, then you must get however many new crowns to protect the teeth that the bridge used to anchored on. Consult with your local dentist and they will show you what I meant here. The easiest way is justness cut off the pontics and leave the abutment portion of the bridge on to save money on the new crowns.

Hi:My suggestion is to have the bite checked on the new bridge. If the bite is off, it can cause a lot of the similar symptoms you are describing.Best,Dr. Maddahi
It depends on what the bridge is made of. If it's porcelain, the retainer can be bonded to it. If it's zironia, it would be very difficult to bond to if at all. You may be better off and have less issues with wearing a removable retainer nightly.
