My opinion is that the gap is too large for bonding. Unfortunately, the most ideal, aesthetic treatment plan would be to go back into orthodontics. Once completed, make sure to wear your retainer this time. Any other treatment would make your front teeth look even wider. Good luck.
Go to a dentist who loves cosmetic dentistry and ask for a Smile Trial. We would take models of your smile and then do a wax -up to see how the teeth fit together. You would return to the office and we would try in the design of the teeth in your mouth! There are lots of options-maybe you just need some minor tooth movement to balance the teeth-maybe you just close the space with bonding. All up to you! Take your time and do the research! Keep smiling!
best option for u is braces treatment or aligners. after braces treatment , frenectomy and permanent retainer is must after treatment in yr case. bonding for space closure is not advisable, in yr case. teeth will look too bulky after bonding.
Yes, the space is too wide for a couple reasons:1. The composite bonding will be unsupported and will break off easily. 2. Even if the bonding is done it will make your front teeth too big and wide and look bad. I I would advise you to seek orthodontic help again and this time follow that up with regular retainer use. This is going to give you the best end result that you should be able to more easily maintain for years to come.
Your picture seems a bit distorted, but based on what I can see, the central incisors (middle teeth) are already too wide for the other teeth. So, no, boding would not yield an esthetic result, Minor orthodontics, followed by bonding or veneers on the lateral incisors (second teeth) would likely give your the smile you desire. Best of luck.
As an orthodontist, my view is , retention phase is more important than active phase. visit yr orthodontist and discuss yr issue.
Since this chip bothers you and is in a high esthetic zone, I would recommend repairing the tooth via cosmetic bonding. It is a painless, non-invasive procedure and it will even out your smile.
You can have the white spots removed and a composite filling placed. You could call some dentists in your area and ask what the cost would be for a one surface composite filling and they should be able to give you a close estimate. You might also ask if they do ICON.That is a noninvasive...
Yes you can have it corrected. Here are your choices as I see it. 1. Speak with your dentists about your concerns and see if he/she thinks they can be improved by redoing them.2. Have a different cosmetic dentist take a look and see if they feel they can bond them with an...
As i can see yr both central incisors are look bigger in size [extrusion] and u have mild spacing b/w centrals and laterals. so by bonding on laterals , it will improve yr smile. u can go with any option bonding or veneers.
Ideally you want to have then about 1 mm of bonding added to each of the central incisors so they stay symmetrical. From looking at the picture, I do not think adding on with bonding will cause the teeth to look too wide. The nice thing about the bonding is that it is relatively...
