I am a candidate for All on 4 BUT I did extensive research on the pros and cons of the treatment and I have concerns on the "shelf-life" and maintenance, I am not sure if it is for me. On my upper jaw only about 4 teeth can be saved. Would it be better to get single implants for the missing teeth. Can I do a combination of bridges/implants/ veneers? Is that even possible? I want my gums and bone to be healthy as they can be but because of my wedding next year I want a beautiful smile.
Answer: Recontstructive Dentistry with Crowns, Bridhes , Implants and Veneers are Ideal. There is no reason you should ever consider an All on Four give your current radiographs. You are far better off utilizing reconstructive dentistry with far less risk of adverse events.Removig all teeth in an arch kills tens of thousands of brain cells involved in normal proprioceptin. You are always better off keeping health teeth.

Answer: Options for bridges and implants Hi DoniSu There are almost always options for every patient. And there are always pros and cons to each route of treatment you decide on with your doctor. Just looking at the one panoramic xray leads me to believe that you may have quite a few options. My strong suggestion would be to find a second opinion to seek out some of those options. I understand that you want your smile to be perfect for the wedding. But choosing an irreversible option to have all of your teeth removed may not be the best thing for you. Find the right doctor for answering your questions. One way or another... you will be seeing a lot of one another.

Answer: Please don't feel conflicted. Help is here. In reviewing your panoramic x-ray, I see a case that can be treated with implants and crowns and bridges after removing some hopeless teeth in the maxillary anterior region. I would recommend lower single implants rather than drilling on any lower teeth to do bridges. It is also possible to place some kind of removable prosthesis if you to stage your treatment and need an aesthetic solution while in transition. I would highly recommend a consultation with an experienced dentist who understands implants and esthetics and restorative dentistry.
