Bruising and possibly elongating upper lip - was this caused by the surgical technique used during my Rhinoplasty? (photos)

I had a 2nd rhinoplasty about 15 years from initial rhinoplasty. The tip of my nose cartilage had been cut and the tip needed to defined and I wanted a more narrow nose. Post 2nd rhino I had awful bruising numbness (that persist even 3 years later) and an odd line that appeared when I smiled. I found the line to be caused by a strut that was placed that I was told wasn’t placed. My question. Would whatever was done to my nose have caused me to have a longer upper lip?
