Had a root canal done in back molar but I never went back to get the crown.

Question

Whatever the used as a temporary fix fell out..The tooth is stuck to my gum line. It is loose jus stuck Is it necessary for me to see a dentist or can it taken out by me.

it's always important to get a crown after a rootcanal to avoid a tooth from chipping or breaking. Also it will prevent the tooth from getting reinfected by getting a proper coronal seal. We always recommend the final crown within two weeks

You must see an experienced dentist to have the remainder of your tooth removed/extracted.  Perhaps it can still be saved?!  Get to a dentist ASAP!

You will want to have the root canal re-evaluated by the dentist who performed the surgery to make sure it is not contaminated.
