Had a root canal done in back molar but I never went back to get the crown.

Whatever the used as a temporary fix fell out..The tooth is stuck to my gum line. It is loose jus stuck Is it necessary for me to see a dentist or can it taken out by me.

Your chipped tooth will not smooth over on its own, unfortunately. You may want to have your dentist evaluate the enamel chip for smoothing or application of tooth colored bonding material. Good luck!
