How Soon Can I Cover the Nasolabial Folds with Make-up After Restylane Injections?

Juvederm Ultra and Restylane are injected with tiny needles so makeup is typically ok to use the next morning and sometimes that night but your doctor should tell you based on how extensive the procedure was.

You can place make-up over the areas of injection immediately after the treatment.  This is absolutely no problem.

You can cover the nasolabial folds immediately with make-up after Restylane injections.  There should be no problem.

Restylane is typically injected with a very fine needle, therefore the skin usually heals over quite rapidly which would allow for use of makeup within 1-2 days.  You should always inquire with your surgeon however, as different gauge needles can be used which can affect the rate at which the skin heals. 

I would not have a problem with you using makeup 1-2 days following Restylane injection of your nasolabial fold areas.
