Dear Doctors, I got my BA done 8 months ago (300mll - silicone under muscle). I still experience now, especially after workout, that my underboob area (where the incisions are) is colder than the rest of the body. Moreover I lost a bit of sensation in both underboobs. But the thing I cant explain is this "cold feeling" and different temperature in the lower part of my breasts, in the area underneith my nipples. Thanks in advance
Answer: Breast Augmentation sensation issues Hello,In the bottom area of your breasts the implants are closest to the surface. If you have little breast tissue covering them it would make sense for this area to feel a little lower in temperature than vascular, warm tissue areas. Some sensation loss under the breast area is normal as well and typically resolves by one year, however discuss any of these concerns with your Plastic Surgeon and have them examine you if necessary to rule out any issues.take care

Answer: Cold underboob post BA? I appreciate your question. Some women with thin breast tissue covering their implants complain that their breasts feel slightly cooler than the rest of their body all the time . The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck! Answer: Breast implant temperture Your implants do not make any heat and are only warmed by your tissues. They do not warm up like your skin does when you work out. Implants tend to be closest to the surface in the inferior breast area. When you work out your skin vessels dilate to expel excess heat you generated but the implants are relatively cooler and that is what you feel. Some women with thin tissues covering their implants complain that their breasts feel slightly cooler than the rest of their body all the time for the same reason.
