I had a crown replaced 3 years ago (gold full lower right hand). Have had no problems, recently tooth has become temperature sensitive (heat) and pressure sensitive. Denist claims I need root canal. He wants to replace gold crown with Zirconia crown. Do I really need a new crown? Root canal ok but why a new crown the old one is not damaged,
