Microblading and permanent eye makeup before facelift and brow lift

Question

I am 60 years old. I plan to have a full face lift and browlift in the near future. Should I have microblading or permanent eye makeup done before surgery? I would think there may be changes (hopefully!) to the eye area that would make these procedures something I should wait to have after surgery. Thank you.

You're absolutely right!It's best to wait until after your surgery, and its healing, before doing the procedure.  The browlift is intended to raise your brow postion and this will definitely impact on placement of the ink.  And, your brow position will also drop a bit after the surgery.Consider waiting about 6 months for best results!Good luck!In good health,Ellen Mahony, MD
